On Friday night parents and friends of Ripponlea gathered with lots of others on the lawns of the Estate with their picnic rugs to watch and cheer on our students and take in the festive atmosphere of relaxed conversation, food and wares.
The premier of the original Christmas song, ‘Hip Hip Hooray’ written and led by Mike McLeish was received with rapturous applause and could very well make it to your favourite radio stations soon!
A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful Choir students for their colourful and enthusiastic singing at the annual Ripponlea Estate Twilight Christmas Event.
I would also like to especially thank our three Year 6 students, Zara,Timna and Stephanie, for their outstanding commitment and contribution to our Choir over several years. They have been extremely valuable and faithful members with their strong and tuneful voices and will be very much missed.
We have had a very successful year of singing together and preparing for various events and are looking forward to 2017!
All students from Years 3-6 are welcome and we would love to see our numbers swelled for the coming year. Choir will take place in Terms 1 and 4 on Tuesday’s.
