UNIT TERM 3:  HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?

This term Grades 1/2  have been exploring pitch and traditional music notation.

We have been learning to play pitched instruments (xylophones, glockenspiels and the marimba) and playing simple melodies.  We then learnt to play the ‘Ripponlea Rooftop Cat’ song and created our own class compositions.  Please enjoy listening to them!  We thought about how high and low cats climb roof tops around Ripponlea and linked this to pitch!
